I composed this track after a camping trip to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan. It began as a multi-tracked kalimba tune, with frogs in the background (recorded during the camping trip)-- released on my 1989 cassette "Offspring"-- but ended as a kalimba rock tune featuring my band at the time: bassist Andy LaCasse, drummer Peter O'Gorman, guitarist Warner Brown, and percussionist Mick LaBriola. This version first appeared on my 1994 cassette tape "Amost Orianna."
