Inspired by the redwood trees of the Santa Cruz Mountains, particularly in the area of the small mountain town of La Honda. "Poetry of the Trees" was originally released on my brother Bill and my 1991 cassette "Sons of RAZ." The tune was redone for this project; only the conga drums were kept from the original recording.
